I was typing an email this Saturday morning and the Lord gave me an illustration -
We might not remind standers often enough that the enemy does not go away when a prodigal is home or on the way home. We could compare it to teasing a rabid dog that is on the attack. When the "dog" turns on you, remember he is being restrained by a rope called prayer. Best of all, the other end of that rope is in the Mighty Hand of Jesus. That enemy "dog" might bark and howl, foam at the mouth, and even lunge right at you, but Jesus is holding His end of the rope securely. Charlyne and I pray you have woven your prayers tightly, so that rope will always hold, regardless of the fierce attacks that threaten each of us.
