Archive: January 2006 Each day Charlyne communicates with you formally through "Charlyne Cares" and our broadcast programs. This is her way of communicating with you informally, so that you might be helped by reading what God is doing in her life. Entries will not be made here daily, but as the Lord leads Charlyne to share from the heart of a stander. January 25, 2006 We are under spiritual attack. That is what I told our standers at Bible study on Monday evening, when I asked for their prayers. Samantha, our two year old granddaughter, fell and broke her arm Saturday evening when Tom had just arrived in town to help Tim with work since he has been sick. Bob’s knee has gotten worse and he is in a lot of pain. I have recently been diagnosed with Diabetes. It seems like our family is in a medical soap opera. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10 What are we going to do? I pulled out Bob’s book, "Be Healed," subtitled, " The Lord God Heals -Sick Bodies and Sick Marriages." The scripture on the cover is; "I was sick and You looked after me.." Matthew 25:36. I then turned to the back of the book and started praying and claiming the scriptures of healing that are throughout the Bible. God’s Word ministers healing to you regardless of your circumstances. He is right there with you. We have so many standers who are facing personal illness, or their loved ones are sick. I cannot encourage you enough to believe for healing for yourself and your family. Bob and I are living proof that regardless of what the Doctors and your body may say, you can still live and serve the Lord. Bob is living proof of that for the past ten years. The Neurologist and Cardiologist both say each time, "You are a living miracle. You should be dead." To God be the glory; Bob is alive. So in spite of the attack on our health, we serve an awesome mighty God who is our great Physician, our Jehovah-Rophe (Lord Who Heals). May I share two scriptures that will show you the power of God’s Word. Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the LORD made a decree and a law for them, and there he tested them. He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you. Genesis 15:25-26 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Proverbs 3:5-8 Now, we would love to have you pray for our family at this time as we pray for your marriage to be restored. January 18, 2006 The days have been running together, as we help Lori and her family with their new baby. Tim has been sicker recently and has had to go to the Emergency Room several times. Bob fell right before Lori’s delivery and hurt his left knee and is hobbling along. He has received one injection in his knee. I am having trouble finding time to write any blogs. I am sorry. Today I had to write and share the birth announcement that Lori and Scott picked for the birth of their twins:
Every good and perfect gift comes from above. We were blessed with twins to cherish and love. Born together to grow apart, One in our hands, one in our heart.
Born into our hands:
Ashley Kristina 4 lbs 7 oz 17 1/4 inches 1:33 AM
Born into God's hands:
Tyler Jacob 4 lbs 16 inches 1:34 AM
December 30, 2005
Proud Family: Scott & Lori Kyle, Kayla and Ryan
That birth announcement says it perfectly. God has another plan that we do not understand right now, but we know that in His perfect timing, Lori and Scott will know and understand. Right now Tyler Jacob is playing with his three sets of great-grandparents in Heaven and with Jesus. January 6, 2006 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." John 14:1-4 Tyler Jacob’s memorial service was yesterday and the burial was today. This seems like a bad dream that I want to wake up from. You and I must be prepared for the trials and tribulations in life. I thank the Lord that Lori and Scott are strong Christians, with Christian parents and Christian friends. Lori and Scott made the memorial service to be very evangelistic for all their loved ones who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ to know that they will never see Tyler if they do not surrender their hearts to Jesus. As our family have been so close to each other for the past few days, I have thought many times, "What if I had not been obedient to my Lord and stood for my husband twenty years ago? I doubt if he would have written a poem about his new grandson. Our children did not have to face step-parents through this tragedy. It just convicted me more that you and I need to fight for all marriages to have love rekindled, healed, marriages restored and rebuilt by our Lord Jesus Christ. I kept praying for Lori’s and Scott’s Pastor as I did not know how he was going to do the memorial service for a baby. I was praying for him to have the right words for Lori, Scott, their children and our families. Yesterday, I turned to Psalm 139 and read the scripture and two verses leaped off the page. I have read this Psalm so many times yet today, the verses have a whole new meaning as I grasped the true meaning of the words. As we listened to the Pastor speak from his heart last night, he opened his Bible and read the exact same scripture the Lord had given me earlier. He then shared his personal testimony that his previous church had several stillborn and babies death all in a short period of time. He had personally experienced the sadness, but God’s faithfulness for the families. "My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139:15-16 God is in control. God ordained Tyler’s creation and he ordained his entire short life before he ever came into being. Oh, that we can understand that God is the Creator of life and death. God does know what is best for Tyler and his entire family. Lori’s and Scott’s prayers are that Tyler’s death will bring many family and friends to the Lord for His glory and honor. Bob, Tyler’s Grandpa, wrote the most beautiful poem that really describes the pain and loss that you have when you lose a baby or a child which was read at the memorial service and was on the memorial service program. Bob says so perfectly how we will miss Tyler in our family. To read, go to - http://rejoiceministries.org/armsofjesus/
