Archive: March 2006 Each day Charlyne communicates with you formally through "Charlyne Cares" and our broadcast programs. This is her way of communicating with you informally, so that you might be helped by reading what God is doing in her life. Entries will not be made here daily, but as the Lord leads Charlyne to share from the heart of a stander. March 31, 2006 "STRIKE THREE, YOU’RE OUT!" - Bob and I went to our oldest granddaughter's softball game Friday evening. I heard the umpire repeatedly call out with a loud voice of authority. Often it was, "Strike one, strike two, strike three, you’re out!" I saw each girl on both softball teams go up to the batter’s box, and with hope of expectancy, was waiting to hit the softball far into the field. I knew that every girl on both teams knew that she had to hit the ball, or be walked to first base, or strike out. Who are you listening to in your mind? Are you listening to the enemy’s loud voice that speaks deafening accusations in your mind that you have made too many mistakes. He speaks that there is no hope in your marriage. Ask yourself if is the enemy speaking or your Lord Jesus Christ, speaking to your heart. Satan speaks of discouragement, defeat and reminds you of all your past failures. Jesus Christ speaks love, and gives hope and forgiveness. Who are you listening to each day? I pray that you will become like our granddaughter, Allyson and not become discouraged. She chooses to practice more with her earthly father so that her Heavenly Father can bless her good works. Are you spending more time with your Heavenly Father to know His will and way in your life and marriage? As you spend time with your Lord, learning the Word of God and putting it into practice, He will bless you with a restored marriage. "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." Matthew 7:24
March 29, 2006 Our weather has been beautiful here in South Florida this week. Bob and I went to a softball game Friday evening. Tim, our oldest son had to work late, so Bob and I were already at the game watching Allyson start to play her first softball game. She kept turning around and we waved at her. Then her Dad showed up and I saw her beam from the field, her Dad, her private coach, was there watching her. That is who she had been watching and waiting for! Your Heavenly Father is your private coach through your marriage problems. Do not keep turning around; He is with you all the time! I also went to two soccer games on Saturday morning cheering three more grandchildren. I have been praying for families this weekend and as I watched the different games with their Moms and Dads cheering. I saw the parent who was alone or with a grandparent. "Thank You, Lord, for the parents who encourage and support their Archived Posts:
