Saturday Testimonies
"In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself." Ephesians 5:28
We present excerpts from some of the testimonies we have received in the past week from people who are trusting God for marriage restoration. These are not meant to be examples for you to follow. They demonstrate how our Mighty God is moving in other families.
Look what the Lord has done -
"I began fasting and praying as the final divorce hearing was approaching. I prayed back God's Word to Him, praising Him that He could stop the divorce from going through. The day arrived and my husband came in, but the judge refused to grant the divorce. He told my husband to make contact with me. Surely even 'the King's heart is in the hand of The Lord; and He turneth it whithersoever He will.'"
(United Kingdom)
"Every year I invite my spouse to spend Christmas and New Years with me. Every year I receive no answer to my emails, just silence. This year I planned not to invite him. I sent the invitation to his email address as the Lord encouraged me. This year, he answered me. The first time he has responded in years. Both answers were still no but his heart and reply were both soft. Praise to God." (

"During the start of my stand I tried everything to get my husband to turn back to God. I finally got to the place where I fully gave him to God. Since then my husband has found a pastor friend, started attending church, has said he was sorry for saying mean things and prayed with our kids for God to move me back to the same city he and my kids live in. For my husband to make these steps is a huge miracle of God and proof of a changing heart. Praise God."
(Washington)
"Lord Jesus, thank You for answering prayer within hours to improve my financial situation with more working hours. Thank You for also softening my husband’s heart and for improved communication. For nothing is impossible with God."
(United Kingdom)
"Praise the Lord. My husband is home one month before our anniversary."
(Arizona)
"My prodigal divorced me and left town with her new husband and my stepsons. Sunday while at the altar, I prayed they would contact me since I haven't heard from them in months. Sunday night I got a text message from the youngest telling me he loved me and missed me. God is so good."
(Colorado)
"Since divorce my husband has not acknowledged my birthday at all. I included in my prayers a request for some form of birthday acknowledgment. My covenant husband called days before my birthday to ask me out for a birthday lunch. He also called on my birthday to wish me a good day. When he picked me up for lunch he had a card for me, as I had prayed. I praise God."
(Florida)
"My pastor shared how Joseph was given a dream and the dream was fulfilled years later. Today God reassured me with Numbers 23:19
; 'God is not a man, that He should like, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?'" (Wisconsin)
"I thank the Lord my husband texted me to say happy birthday. It was an answer to prayer."
(United Kingdom)
"I contacted an attorney because I was scared of not responding to the divorce papers my husband filed. I didn't have money to pay, so she guided me to the State's online divorce information. I've been praying against the divorce. I could not find a case number online. When I called they said there was no case opened. My husband shared that he lost the divorce papers I thought he had filed months ago. I was able to pray together with him. God is moving."
(Washington)
"My prodigal returned this past October and we're as happy as when we first married. The biggest change has been the practice of zipping my lips."
(Georgia)
"My wife invited me to attend a function with our son and it went well. Just about every night since then we have been going out as a family. I'm so very fortunate, blessed and amazed how God is working miracles in our lives. It is incredible to see walls coming down and to listen to her talk about us as a family again."
(Florida)
"This week I had a bill to pay and then I would have very little money left. I had given to God my tithe and knew that he wouldn't let me down. I cried out to God and then next day I received an amount of money that was over double my tithe. God is amazing and he never lets us down."
(United Kingdom)
"My husband text me he was coming over to deliver a book I asked him to pick up. We had dinner and he told me he had gone to church. I love my God."
(Florida)
"My teen-age old daughter who has been very difficult since the separation sent me a message. She said that she loved me very much and that I look stunning and my face glowing. God has been so good to sustain this mom and to even give me a glow."
(North Carolina)
"Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything." Ephesians 5:22-24
