"I thank Almighty God for leading the way to restoration. My husband and I are dating again. He has invited me to church many times. God is faithful to His Word." (California)

"Praise to our Father God, prodigals do come home. I prayed, scared and hopeful at the same time. I am happy to say God changed my husband's heart and mine. We are like newlyweds all over. He is going to church again and reading his Bible. We are praying together, and planning to attend a marriage conference. My prayer is that we would boldly proclaim the gospel of Christ with our lives and win others to Him. Your daily devotions were full of scripture and encouraged me in my stand. I thank God for you." (North Carolina)

"When my spouse left me, I deepened my relationship with Christ and was praying for marriage restoration. I then realized that I was the prodigal, as I had left my first husband and had married another. I was given the opportunity by God to be obedient. He took the obstacles out of the way. On Christmas my loving husband proposed to me and on January 1, I was remarried to my true covenant spouse. Thank you so much, Mr. and Mrs. Steinkamp, for all you do to help restore all of us prodigals to the Kingdom." (Tennessee)

"My husband left, but the next month moved back home. I stood on God's Word. Even though I felt broken and alone, God was with me all the time. We're now communicating and loving each other, spending time with one another and with the children. I am grateful to the Lord for restoration. (Maryland)

"God is Awesome and Faithful. After standing for my marriage and many false starts home, my husband is home. He moved home suddenly and quietly. He also stopped the divorce that was scheduled. He has even been ministering to my cousin with his suggestion to visit, ‘that prodigal marriage website.’ He encouraged my cousin to not file for divorce, but to ‘stand’ for his marriage. I am still in awe of how God works."  (Texas)

"Praise God, my prodigal came home a month ago. He says he knows that the Lord brought him back and that he is here to stay. God is doing an awesome work in both of us. My husband has developed a fierce appetite for the Lord. Thanks you for your books, and the daily encouragement. God bless you both." (Delaware)

"Praise God my prodigal and I are going to be married. How God is faithful! This has been the most trying, difficult time in my life, but the things I have learned. Praise God for his goodness. I just wanted to thank you Charlyne for your encouraging words, your tapes and books. They kept me motivated. Please continue to pray for us. I want my marriage built on the solid rock of Jesus. Please pray for our protection and for the reconciliation of our children to their Dad. He changed (husband's) heart. I know he will change the hearts of my children as well. Thank you, thank you thank you." (Ohio)

"God is ever faithful even when we are not. My husband has been home for a year. Praise God, blinders are being removed from his eyes and he is finally acknowledging he cannot do without God and crying out that he is broken. God is able to anything." (California)

"My husband moved back home this past week. We have been in weekly marriage counseling. My husband made a promise to not speak of divorce again. The Lord does answer prayers." (Michigan)

"I would like to share with you the happiest moment of my life. After 15 months of separation my wife is back! In June last year, after living for 6 years in marriage my wife told me that I was a bad husband and she would not want to spend the rest of her life with me. Our 5 year old son lived with my wife, we separated. I was lost, I was sad, I was miserable, I felt what every of us standers would feel guilt, rejection. I didn't know what to do, but one thing I knew for sure -I did not want to divorce my wife. After one month I found your Internet site. That was a big relief and a big hope for me. These 15 months of standing were very hard for me, I could not see the results of my and my friends' prayers. God is Great! He moves suddenly and His miracles are so powerful and wonderful! On Sunday we went to church and lit three candles and thanked God for His wonderful miracles, for healing of our family. What did I learn from these experiences? First of all and the most important - that one should believe and trust our most loving Almighty God in every step, in every breath of his or her life. Faith moves mountains! God's ways are perfect. I have changed and I have a new changed loving wife. Of course there is much to be done, but I leave everything to God, I believe in God's will. Secondly, the harvest of standing for your family and for your spouse is priceless. My wife told me yesterday that she thought such things can happen only in movies, that adultery can never be forgiven. With unconditional love we can show to others that everything is possible with God. We can show other people how good it is to seek God and to be obedient to Him. The third thing, if you leave God's path finally you get lost and miserable. Yes, my wife told me she was feeling like that, though during our separation she used to pretend she was happy and smiled to me whenever I saw her. This used to weaken my faith, I used to think "God, you said that it was bad not to listen to you, but look - she is happy!" I didn't know what she felt inside because I was looking through worldly eyes. I am so thankful to our Loving God for these experiences. I would like to help other hurting families in my country and in the whole world. Please pray for us. I also would like to offer this report as an encouragement to all standers. Sorry for my grammar mistakes I am not very good at English." (Lithuania, Eastern Europe)

“My husband came home this past Sunday. Although I have been saved for a year, I was still not walking in love, but still trying to find ways to manipulate my husband. I am seeing my husband the way that God sees him. For the longest time, I thought I was the only person in the world who was standing.” (California)

"After a year of turning his back on his Lord, my husband returned to the Father and to our family. We are in a new town, away from where all the pain happened and able to start a new life. We still need much prayer. However, the blessings have been great and I know God will continue to heal our marriage." (California)

“Last Sunday my prodigal and I had a huge misunderstanding. We had a big blow-out and things looked quite grim. I prayed and cried out to the Lord. Within 36 hours my prodigal called to say he wanted to meet. We met for dinner and he told me that he had broken off his other relationship and that he wanted (us) to start dating again, but take things very slowly. I waited years for my prodigal and now that we have started a journey back to restoration, those years seem like nothing.” (Canada)

"My spouse returned home after separation and divorce. Yesterday was our anniversary. When I woke up yesterday morning, there was a note in my kitchen that said "Happy Anniversary." During my lunch, I received flowers from my spouse. On the card were the words to our wedding song. It was signed using the word 'love.'" (New Jersey)

"After 20 months of separation and my husband filing for a divorce, he came home last weekend. During most of the time that we were separated he told me that he would never come home; however I continued to pray and thank God that my husband was home and healed." (Texas)

“Praise God, He has brought my prodigal spouse home. God has also had the divorce that my prodigal spouse started in 2001 dismissed in January. My husband has been home for four and a half months. It's as Charlyne and Bob have stated,”Prodigals do come home!” (Texas)

"After months of being separated and being at the point of waiting for the judge’s decree in our divorce, my husband wants for us to be together. I was directed to Rejoice Marriage Ministries by God the night I was served with divorce papers. Even our pastor told me if my husband wants to leave the marriage there is nothing I could do. I thought that was so wrong. At that time I did not know what 'standing' was, yet, everything in me fought against those words. Then God led me to your ministries. I was desperate. I have been standing since then. We have been to counseling and are on our way to restoring our marriage. God is an awesome God." (Florida)

"Shortly after I left my husband and arrived in my sublet to start my new life, I heard God telling me that I would not divorce my husband but stand in the gap and pray for his salvation and that He would heal and restore our marriage. God led me to Rejoice Marriage Ministries who became our marriage counselor with hundreds of miles between us. God first began a great work in me, healing me and showing me the error of my ways. Now, praise God, I am back home after nearly a year and God is working on my husband as I continue to stand forever. Praise God." (North Carolina)

"I am praising God because I just moved back home. My wife divorced me just over a year ago. I tried the divorce recovery group and the singles group at church. It didn't take long to figure out I didn't belong there. You have been my only support in standing for my marriage. There were many times I wanted to give up but I knew I couldn't because I knew it would mean giving up my family. Please pray that the Lord would continue restoring our marriage and our family." (Connecticut)

"My prodigal and I will be remarried in one month, two years after divorce. Last week my prodigal husband called the pastor and asked if he would remarry us privately. We will have a public renewing of our vows ceremony this fall for family and friends. The Lord gave me this vision of the wedding celebration when my prodigal was living with someone else. He even gave me the colors for the ceremony and the words for the announcements and invitations. This is all about the power of Jesus to resurrect dead relationships. 'Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished.'  Luke 1:45" (Illinois)

"Last December I remarried my husband after being divorced for years. God is so good. He even blessed us with our first new home that we moved into in December as well. Our marriage has been wonderful, but the bumps we've experienced along the way are reminders that we can never stop praying for our marriages because we have an enemy that seeks to steal, kill and destroy. Praise the Lord."  (Florida)

"Praise God, He has healed my marriage. After my husband left, I was devastated, but I felt that I must seek God, not the world. It was hard some days, but God put so many people in my life that had gone thru this. I started believing that nothing was too hard for God.  We are going to a Christian counselor. I know that God can do anything. Praise be to the Lord." (Texas)

"After years of separation, my husband moving in with the other woman, many postponed divorce court dates and even a final divorce court hearing, my husband is back home. Praise God. My family and friends kept telling me to get on with my life, but God had told me in so many ways to hold on and wait for Him and my family would be rebuilt. When I finally got out of God's way and stopped trying to manipulate things He gave me my blessing. I will pray as long as it takes for salvation for my husband and my family. Thank you for your support." (California)

"Praise the Lord, we just celebrated our second anniversary of a marriage restored. God is faithful. Thank you, Jesus for carrying me through and calling me to this situation. Nothing is impossible for the Lord." (Minnesota)

"After a year of separation, my prayers were answered and my wife invited me back home and we are in love again. Praise God." (Pennsylvania)
