"After many falls into the pit, my prodigal daughter has come home suddenly. The road she was on wounded her in many ways physically but I know my God has a road of recovery for her. Next will be her father. Thank You God for Your unique plan for healing and restoration." (Washington State)
"But I will rescue you on that day, declares the LORD; you will not be handed over to those you fear." Jeremiah 39:17
"Today was a scheduled hearing for our divorce. My spouse didn't show up because his car broke down. Prior to today my spouse and I suddenly began to talk once again. To God be the Glory." (Maryland)
"I just want to give thanks to the Lord because he is working in our marriage. Yesterday my husband called and said that he wanted me and my son to meet at a store so he could buy our son clothes. We met and had a good time. I know that God is working in his heart and good things are going to happen in our marriage. Nothing is impossible for God" (California)
"My husband left and I started to stand with the help of your site. I got tired and involved with a married man. God eventually sent my husband home, but I was too involved with the other man to take my husband back. He even read a Psalm to me one night when he had never read the Bible before. Now both me and my husband are in the far country because I did not believe." (Country removed)
We are reserving this space to share what God is about to do for you! We'll even start it for you: "Just when I was ready to give up, you will not believe what God did..." (We would, because we hear it daily!)
"After a tough year with my prodigal and his family, the Lord is merging us all together closer than before. Glory to God." (Louisiana)
"My prodigal and I have been texting lately. I told him that I baked cookies for him. He invited me up, and we had a relaxing night watching television with small talk. Bob's Father's Day books were on the coffee table in plain sight, although nothing was said about them. My mountains are moving. Thank You, Jesus." (Maryland)
"I went through the worst year of my life last year, but also the year that I have become so close to Jesus. He has assured me that my marriage will be restored time and time again. I have asked for specific signs and He has shown me. Following your words of following God and not what other people say to do, I am able to stand with my head held high, knowing that I am a child of God and still able to do His works. It has taken a while but I am able to greet my wife with a smile and a hug to let her know that I still love her no matter what she is doing. It is a strange feeling, but I feel that she is comforted by coming to the house and being near me. Praise God for what He has done, for what He is doing and for what He has yet to do!" (Ohio)
“I called my husband today to ask him to call off the divorce. He got quiet and told me that he would not call it off but he is willing to go to counseling. He wouldn't even listen to that request in the past. I have been fasting, and Sunday was the last day of our 21 day fast. My pastor said to watch the harvest this week. I can't wait to see what God will do next. There is power in prayer and fasting.” (Maryland)
"For Christmas last year I received a letter from my husband's lawyer concerning divorce. This year I got a nice Christmas card from my husband and one from my mother-in-law. I have prayed the Word to every suggestion of divorce from my husband and his lawyer. God has stopped the process every time. I know the Lord will fulfill His promises. To God be all the glory." (Norway)
"When my husband left me, I was unemployed with a child. Although my trial has been terrible, I cannot praise God enough for it. I not only now have a relationship with the Lord, but He found me the perfect job which allows me not to need daycare. I have actually come to love myself again and I have been able to lose many pounds. My husband has started contacting me. He spent an evening with us and has committed to being here this coming week. I am anticipating being able to give my testimony at church once my miracle has been fulfilled." (Indiana)
“I have been without a computer for four months. I have not been able to read Charlyne Cares. The Bible has been my only source of knowledge and I have gained great strength from it. We are still married. The Lord has intervened many times and court has been continued 11 times.” (Nebraska)
"My husband told me he did not love me any more, was in love with someone else, and moved out last year. If I had not come across this website in my search for answers, I would have let the enemy make me believe that my husband was better off without me, and that I deserve to be deserted. Instead, I stood and trusted God for restoration. Soon, my husband told me that he made a mistake, and was not in love with the other girl, but that he still did not have hope for our restoration. I kept on standing, and shared everything with him that the Lord revealed to me. God started working in both of us, and at the end of February, he moved back. We have felt like newlyweds ever since. I praise God, because this was all Him. Nothing we tried, seemed to work. We are growing closer every day." (Arizona)
After years of standing our final court hearing came this week. I was not expecting it, but the judge asked each party, 'Is there any hope for reconciliation?' My prodigal wife answered, no. Instinctively, from my heart, I answered, yes. 'How can you say there is hope when she doesn't want to reconcile with you?' the judge replied. I was put on the spot. 'By the power of God.' came my reply. (Luke 12:11-12) Praise God that His view of the matter was entered into the court transcript, and that He will indeed restore our marriage." (South Carolina)
Thursday’s devotional 'Start Rebuilding Your Foundation' was for me. I was just sharing that the Lord has been uprooting ungodly plants from my childhood and this devotional confirmed what I had been sharing. My God is at work indeed. The scriptures from Ezekiel are the main scriptures I pray for my spouse and to see them detailed in the devotional, exactly the way the Lord taught them to me, is confirmation of His work. I am a new creature in Christ and I tell you signs and wonders will follow me indeed (Mark 16), as the Lord works in my life to the glory of Christ." (United Kingdom)
“Months ago my husband changed his phone number so that we could not call him. After receiving the prayer from Charlyne Cares about praying for God to 'change your spouse's heart,' I began to pray this prayer along with other scriptures everyday. Last Saturday morning my husband called me and gave me his new phone number so that the kids could call him. He even came over later that day and took the kids out to spend time with them. God is not only changing my husband's heart, but he is also changing mine. I now have a greater hope and peace about my marriage than I have ever had before. No matter what the circumstances may look like I am trusting God and I know that He is restoring my marriage.” (Illinois)
"I felt led to testify of my Lord's faithfulness to His Word. I have tithed on the divorce settlement money for years as I have had no other income. The math does not work for the amount of money I have spent and what I have left. My car was getting old and I was concerned about what to do. My brother asked if I would like his car, which is only two years old." (Australia)
My husband is bringing Christmas presents over and we are going to wrap them. . Our Lord has been a Loving God through this and I give Him thanks daily. (Georgia)
"I praise and thank the Lord for all He has done in my relationship with my wife. He has brought me through another man in her life, the end of the relationship, and a renewing of our friendship. My wife sent me a Christmas package and we have had some really loving telephone conversations. In addition, Our Lord has started the healing of the relationship between my wife and my parents. Praise His Holy Name. I look forward in eager anticipation to our remarriage." (England)
"God is amazing. Not only did my wife call today, but she asked if I wanted a piece of furniture back that she had taken with her, saying it doesn't fit in where she is staying. Praise the Lord, I believe this is only the beginning of more things that don't 'fit in' coming back home." (Utah)
"I read Saturday Testimonies and always think that nothing good would be happening to me. My situation is hopeless, I thought. Last night for the first time, I thought that my situation is not too difficult for God. He can heal anything. I begged God for His forgiveness because I have not treated my husband right for many years and I have not been the wife God wanted me to be. I have been very controlling. Our divorce is about to be finalized any minute now. (Husband) wants to go on, but for the first time yesterday he told me, "You never know what God has in store and maybe a few years from now we'll be married again." When I heard that I cried like a baby because humanly speaking my situation is totally hopeless. Everyone in my life, except you, are telling me that I have to move on and let go." (State omitted due to nature of testimony)
"God is developing me each day as a virtuous woman and wife. I was recently served divorce papers. I love my husband today more than the day we were married. I recognize that it is the enemy behind this. God has helped me to remain calm in adverse times and to continue to speak good about my husband. Praise God, my emotions no longer have control over my responses." (North Carolina)
"We had drifted apart, and were on the brink of divorce when my husband got deployed to Africa. He's filed a request for leave time that's been approved and he's coming home in a couple weeks to see me. During that time we're going to work on our problems, and renew our promises to one another." (North Carolina)

"Waiting for a prodigal husband is extremely hard, but I have seen good fruits coming from waiting on the Lord in this stormy marriage. God has changed me to be a faithful prayer warrior. Since I started to take an hour of quiet time, it has been more peaceful at home. My husband does not come to church, but he commented that he lives with a church (me). I thank God for dealing with my self-centeredness to glorify His name." (Spain)
"I started receiving 'Charlyne Cares' when my husband was still at home. Now that he is out of the home and I am standing for my marriage I open my mail every morning and find exactly what I need for that day, according to what is happening in my situation or how I am feeling. God is confirming to me every day that my family will be together again." (Mexico)
"Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say...His God instructs him and teaches him the right way....All this also comes from the Lord Almighty, wonderful in counsel and magnificent in wisdom." Isaiah 28:23,26,29
“This past Christmas has been harder than any I've had so far. The enemy sent discouragement after discouragement. On the flight home after Christmas, sitting next to the window, I was looking out at the clear, sunny sky, praying for strength and wisdom, when I saw a rainbow. We were flying over the desert with no sign of precipitation whatsoever and very few clouds. At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks or the plexiglass window had fooled me when I hear the Lord say, 'Look again and I will show you another one.' Tears ran down my face as the second one became visible and I knew that He had driven a Covenant truck of heavenly proportions in front of me. When I got home and read my Charlyne Cares devotion, there was the reference to Noah and I knew that He was confirming that it was not an accident or scientific phenomenon that I had seen but a reminder of His covenant with me to restore our marriage.” (Arizona)

This was no small task, physically or financially. What a blessing. Then, today out of the blue, he called and offered to meet me to fill up my gas tank. Considering the current price of gas, this touched my heart very deeply. Thank You Lord for these blessings and for softening our prodigal's hearts.” (Missouri)

"We are selling our home and had a contract but were waiting for the bank to approve. Our realtor told my spouse not to file for divorce until the house sells so there are not legal issues to disrupt the sale. This week the buyers decided to walk. This means it will take longer until my spouse can file. God is at work even thought my spouse doesn't know it. I gave the house and everything to God and I am waiting for His will to be done." (Tennessee)
"The other person led my husband to believe I had done things that I had not. He told me he never wanted to see or talk to me again. This week he talked to me and heard and believed my side of the story. We are talking again and he even invited me into his house to share a new Bible study he is doing. I thank God that truth prevails. I thank God that my spouse is studying God's Word and that it won't be long until our marriage is restored." (West Virginia)

I filed a response after being served, but when I drove to the courthouse the next morning to complete the paperwork with a facilitator, I was stuck in a traffic jam (usually no traffic during that time of day), and upon arrival I was turned away for no apparent explanation. Now my husband has been providing gas money for my car, driving by our home. Jesus is awesome.” (California)
"My husband has filed for divorce. In our State, parents are required to attend a parenting class for the divorce to be final. I was reluctant and had prayed for God to comfort me in this. I don't know how He is going to work in this, but I don't believe our paths have crossed for no reason." (Alabama)

"Nine months before our 25th anniversary, my husband demanded a divorce. I thought my life was over. God intervened after my constant cries of defeat and regret. I called and asked him to the movies and when he saw me, that was the turning point. God spoke to him and told him that it had been a mistake. Five months after that turning point, we were remarried in St. Thomas. There is always hope, no matter what. God is the hope. We give Him all the glory, honor and praise." (Ohio)
