“Praise God for the work He has done in my life. My wife and I were apart, the divorce papers were filed and we were due to go to court in a few weeks. But I prayed and fasted and God heard my prayers. My wife called me and said she wants me to come back home to be a family. Our God is still working on marriages so pray and ask Him to restore. He wants to do it for you as He did it for me.” (Louisiana)

“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”  Jeremiah 32:17

“Happy New Year to RMM and all standers. Christmas was a difficult time for me and I am sure many standers, and I give thanks for the encouragement and support from RMM. God is faithful. While I didn't get my Christmas miracle, I kept praying and hoping that God's light would shine into my husband’s darkness. On New Year's day he came to the church service, spoke to my mother, and even responded to the birthday message I sent. Yesterday he attended our church prayer service. God is touching his heart and turning it towards Him. To God be the Glory. We serve a miracle working God.”  (Zimbabwe)

“It’s been several years since I started my stand. It's been difficult, but I have His strong hand holding me. Each and every day I see little changes, that keep encouraging me to pray for my spouse and for all the other prodigals and standers. Keep praying, keep talking to God, do not faint. He will restore your marriage, as He's doing with mine. May the Lord keep blessing this ministry and all the standers.”  (Puerto Rico)

"Halleluyah! My husband has cancelled the divorce after one year of no communication and court battles. Suddenly he wants his family back. Praise God for He is mighty. Thank you, Charlyne and Bob. Your daily 'Charlyne Cares' email helped me a lot." (Austria)

"After months of standing in the gap and praying, the Lord has softened my husband's heart towards me. We have spoken on the phone three times in the last month. On Father's Day, I was honored to pray for my husband as he received the healing prayer. God does hear our prayers! Through the Holy Spirit's prompting and submitting to God and my husband and learning to respect them, I live in peace as I wait for the Lord to grant our total restoration experience one day at a time."  (South Carolina)

“I have been standing for many years. Thursday the judge stopped the foreclosure sale on my home of 23 years just 10 minutes before it was scheduled! (He loves the 11th hour!) My prodigal cannot do enough to help me get the house we will rent ready for me and the children to move into. He is paying for a lot of repairs and renovations. My prodigal niece, whom we raised, was standing next to me in church yesterday for the first time in 17 years! God is so faithful as He has promised to bring back ALL my prodigal family members! The others are on the way too!”  (Missouri)

“The devotionals and this community have helped me focus on God and to stand. I've felt that this has been such a tough and dark time in my life, but God has always been good, providing firm blessings, answered prayers, and encouragement every step of the way. My husband now regularly visits me and our baby, stays the night, goes out with us on occasions, and is intimate and very caring with me. We've come a long way and I am grateful to God. I need to trust God and do better with my temper and patience. We need to understand the prodigal's emotions, zip our lips, and be steadfast in our stand and love. PTL.”  (Philippines)

"Today was our first divorce court date. Praise God it was postponed for another day. My spouse doesn't believe God can heal our marriage but I do. We serve a mighty God that has everything under control." (Georgia)

“My wife agreed to go to dinner with me. I was very nervous because one month earlier she said no to dinner. I prayed for direction and God said, 'It is finished.' I then asked God for confirmation. He led me to Hosea 6:2. I was floored and asked God for a sign because what I just read was amazing. Shortly after that I saw a Covenant Transport truck parked in an area where if parked any other place, I would not have seen it. Dinner that night was amazing. Jesus!”  (Colorado)

"God has perfect timing. After months of separation in different states from my wife and daughters, God's vision has been evident for us to see. My wife and I and our children are planning to be home again with each other in a neutral state where we can continue to grow in our commitment to Christ. Thank God for your ministry." (Georgia)

“I am quite a longtime stander and find Saturday Testimonies very helpful. But I have to admit I've often struggled to understand what they mean by 'having a blessed time/day' if it didn't directly involve the return of their prodigal. Well, now I do! Over the last few days, through His Holy Spirit, I have felt the Lord drawing many strands of life together - some recent and some from way back. Don't ask me how, but I know that I know that God is moving the mountain of divorce in our family! God can do anything  - praise His Holy Name that is above all names.”  (United Kingdom)

"Without my asking, my husband sent me several email telling me how he put money into my IRA and more money in my business retirement account. I'm so grateful for these financial signs of love. I am confident the Lord is softening my husband’s heart so I'll be seeing the restoration of our marriage." (Wisconsin)

I foretold the former things long ago, my mouth announced them and I made them known; then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass. Isaiah 48:3

“When my husband left I cried to God for comfort on my ‘future divorce.’ He gave me Ecclesiastes 5:4. I reread my wedding vows to make sure. Still angry that God would ask me to ‘stand,’ I searched divorce and found your website. I gave God an ultimatum of six months. I was stubborn and proud! It’s been a few years now. Before the first OW came, I dreamt about her so I was prepared. When my husband was with her, I dreamt about the second OW and she would be divorced so I knew that after that relationship ended there would be another. I prayed and fasted for a job and had a dream to apply at a hospital. I did and got the job but had no clue that God would put me to work with the second OW! I don't fight God anymore. I trust Him. He broke my will. I'm facing my fears. I am now looking forward to obeying God and showing the OW kindness. God is changing me. I've had dreams that my husband is lost and trying to find his way home and he comes home.”  (Texas)

“God is so good! I have been standing for several years and while I always send a Christmas gift with our sons, my prodigal has never acknowledged me on holidays. Last Saturday morning, while waiting for my prodigal to drop our boys off from an early Christmas celebration, I was reading the Saturday testimonies when our front door opened and I heard my prodigal call my name! He hasn't stepped into our home for years and he wrapped his arms around our boys and me and wished me a Merry Christmas! Our first Christmas apart, our Lord gifted me with Habakkuk 1:5!”  (Illinois)

"My prodigal recently stopped paying medical bills causing collection notices to come. Instead of contacting him, I prayed and knew that God wanted me to start paying them. I sent a payment to one account for $45. Sunday I received a note from my pastor that someone had left $50 in the Church office for me. Praise God, that bill was covered. No one knew about the bills but me." (South Carolina)

"Today our Pastor spoke on Restoration. We sang a song that said... "I'm reaping the harvest God promised me, take back what the devil stole from me. And I rejoice today, I will recover it all." He encouraged us "Go take it back, God is with you." It was very encouraging! I know He's working behind the scenes. During this three year separation from my prodigal, God has blessed me very much. My biggest blessing...my son was baptized last October. God's been telling me to trust Him this year and I'm feeling so in love with my Lord and Savior. Thank You, Lord!" (California)

"My husband does not go to church with me yet. Today it rained and my husband called me outside to see a rainbow. We realized it was a double rainbow. I have only seen two double rainbows in my life. The first was when I was standing for my marriage. At that time God promised me my marriage would be restored. This time I feel God is saying my husband will be restored to Him. Praise God." (New York)

“While reading the Saturday Testimonies, I was praying that I would hear from my spouse. I had just said that prayer and my phone rang. It was my spouse! Thank You, Heavenly Father for answered prayers.”  (Arkansas)

"My prodigal and I are separated and money has been tight. I have been praying for a way to pay off my credit debt to ease the burden. During this time, I have faithfully tithed at my church and donated to other ministries when God spoke to me, often stepping out on faith. Last week, I received three years worth of stipend checks that more than covered all my debts and allowed for me to keep a promise made to my children when I first started college. Praise the Lord for He is so awesome." (Virginia)

"God led me to write a letter to the other woman to tell her I forgave her and to witnessed to her about God and letting her know I am praying for her. My children sent a recording Christmas card to their daddy saying how much they love him. Thank You God for softening my heart." (Rhode Island)

“It was our wedding anniversary this week and the Lord has blessed me with many verses that let me know that restoration is here. This time last year I was without hope and in despair but this year I am praising our Lord for all He has done and for all He is going to do. I wanted to share one of the verses with the beautiful standers. Isaiah 62:6-7 'On your walls Jerusalem, I have placed sentries. They must never be silent day or night. They must remind the Lord of His promises and never let Him forget. They must give Him no rest until He restores Jerusalem and makes it a city the whole world praises.' God is telling us in His Word that we must never stop asking Him to do all that He has promised! This whole chapter is full of the Lord's promises.Your land will be called "happily married."’  ‘The Lord has made a solemn promise and by His power He will carry it out.’ ‘Go out of the city and build a road for your returning people.’My husband is on the way home! All glory to God who is able.”  (United Kingdom)

"O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago." Isaiah 25:1

“Thank You Heavenly Father for speaking to me. I was driving on the highway, wondering if I'd see a 'Kingsway' truck as the Lord has shown me these many times in His perfect timing. I had a fleeting moment of doubt - perhaps I was reading too much into these trucks. Just then on the opposite side of the highway, a Covenant Transport truck zoomed by! I almost lost control of my vehicle as I live in Canada and did not know they traveled north of the US border! I had never seen one. I was utterly shocked.Three years into my stand and the Lord is still surprising me! Thank you for encouraging me and shaking me free of my doubt. I love you. Amen.”  (Canada)

“We have been separated/divorced for several years and I have been standing. My prodigal and I have always maintained a good relationship and we saw each other every other week to exchange child support. We took our son to college orientation and we shared a hotel. I wondered if he would come by now that there was no more child support to be paid. Praise God, he still gives me money and still comes by to spend time with me. I feel love when he holds me and when we kiss. Praise Jesus our mountain is moving. The moment I let go and let God is the moment I saw changes. I'm sitting back and allowing our Lord to win this battle. His will be done. Luke 1:37.”  (Texas)

"After months of no face to face contact, I awakened in the middle of the night with the clear instruction to ask my husband 'Are you all right?' I obeyed and emailed him those four words. He responded immediately and within a couple of days I found myself in his company for a friendly visit with my pets who live with him. The meeting gave me the chance to smile at my husband and convey unconditional love. Praise Him." (Kentucky)

"God is working in my husband. He knows my Mom likes flowers and he has taken a lot of pictures of flowers and sends them to our daughter. He has been asking our daughter to do a scrapbook for her Grandmother for Mother's Day. She is in the process of doing it. I suggested she make it from her father as well as her, since he took the pictures and it was his idea. She asked him and he agreed. Praise the Lord, my husband still remembers my mother liking flowers so much." (Canada)

“I have been praying for God to bring my husband home. It has been many years since my husband left to be with someone else. He has missed so many Christmases but this year he spent two days with us. He says he is happy with his new life but he knows I still pray for his return. He was here and I could tell he has missed his family. God brought him home, even if only for a few days. That was just a confirmation to me that God is working on his heart. God is good!  What a wonderful Christmas gift for me from God Almighty. I know that God is still working on the other side of the mountain and on his heart. To God be all the glory. I love you Jesus.”  (Texas)

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.”  Luke 15:20

“I just want to encourage standers to pray specific big prayers while their spouse is away. I did when my husband was away and the Lord answered! Praise God! Our God is so faithful! I pray daily for all standers!”  (Canada)

"I moved out in anger, only looking at the physical when I should have looked to the spiritual and gotten on my knees. I praise and thank God for his understanding and forgiveness, I am praying my prodigal will return to a relationship with Christ and ask me to return home." (Jamaica)

“As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”  Daniel 12:13

“After many months of separation, disappointed about my stand because I didn't see any progress on my marriage restoration, and hearing about the lifestyle of my husband, I talked to him about divorce and asked him to bring me the documents to start the process the next day (not really what I wanted in my heart). He didn't come, so I started to fast and cried out to the Lord and asked Him to show me His will and soften our hearts. The next day I received some text messages from my husband asking for forgiveness. I know for sure that God is preparing the way for my marriage restoration and for my husband to go back to the Lord. I thank God for His tender love and know He always answers our prayers.”  (Dominican Republic)

“'You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water…This is an easy thing in the eyes of the Lord.’2 Kings 3:17-18 This is the promise that God gave me to stand for the restoration of my marriage. God is helping me to stand. As stated in the verse, the circumstances are really negative but God has enabled me to focus on all His promises rather than the circumstances. During this period I grew up in the Lord and God supplied all my needs according to His riches in glory. As stated in Isaiah 61:7: Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion.  By the grace of the Lord, He gave me a promotion at work and enabled me to buy a house. The Lord gave me this house as a ‘House of restoration.’ I firmly believe in God that one day my husband and I will live in that house and will serve the Lord. God who did this great thing will surely do the greatest thing of salvation in my husband's life and bring him back home. Our God is the Lord of impossible.”  (India)

“It was the anniversary of my first date with my husband. I woke up feeling so sad and alone, thinking no one was thinking of that day but me. That very day, I opened my email to find one from a member of the Steinkamp family, letting me know my name had been randomly chosen by the computer THAT VERY DAY for my marriage to be prayed over. God has amazing ways to show us He is on our side. When God is on our side, who can be against us? No one! Psalm 86:17Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, O LORD, have helped me and comforted me.Every morning I lift my eyes up to the Lord knowing this is the day my husband will miss me more than he did yesterday, for I know God is working on it. Amen.”  (New York)

"My husband came to get the children for the weekend and took them to a movie. My husband thought 'Fireproof' looked good, so they bought tickets. On the way out of the movie, our kids said that they told him that was the movie that mom has been praying he would go and see. Keep working behind that mountain, Lord." (Michigan)

“My husband came home. He still has not repented to Jesus and is still trying to ‘fix’ himself by his own strength. I pray that the Holy Spirit will continue His work in both of us. I know that God brought him back home. I give Jesus all the glory.”  (Florida)

“My husband agreed to go to counseling. God lead a friend to tell me about an intensive marriage program out-of-state for couples in crisis and my husband has agreed to do it. God then provided the money and opened up both my husband's and my schedule to go. We have spent time together and he helped pay for my car repair, telling my mechanic he wanted to show me he wanted to work things out. We soon will leave for our marriage intensive program and I know God is working. To God alone be the glory and praise.”  (Ohio)

"I have asked God several times if I should stand, and God tells me again and again to stand firm. He has been my husband this season. Despite all my problems, I am still rejoicing in the God of my salvation. My faith has grown and I believe God is working on the other side of the mountain." (Colorado)

The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.  Psalm 25:14

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."  Mark 11:22-24

“I have finally realized and am joyful of the fact that my marriage really did have to die. I spent many years being angry, bitter, resentful etc. toward my husband and even though I gave my life to the Lord, my behavior was more like the children of Israel in the wilderness, continually complaining and wanting to go back to my Egypt of captivity. Even though I was being rebellious towards God, He was being patient and faithful towards me. God has done such a work on me that I now truly do cast ALL my cares onto Him. I forgive quickly and regularly, zip my lips, love the unlovable, pray for the OW as well as the Sanballat and Tobias's (in Jeremiah Chapters 2, 4, & 6)  of our marriage and thank God throughout the day. (United Kingdom)

"Right before I went to bed I realized I'd forgotten my ring at the gym. I called the next morning and they said nothing had been turned in, but I could come check. When I got there the janitor told me he'd checked every locker and it wasn't there, but I could check if I wanted. When I checked in the locker, it was right where I'd placed it the day before! The Lord showed me that He'd watched over it just like He is our marriage and that it doesn't matter what others say or think. He's in control! Glory to God!" (West Virginia)

“Praise God for prayers answered! Not only is my prodigal son coming home but his school has waived my outstanding bill. Thank You Lord for your faithful providence through this trial.”  (Australia)

"My prodigal was admitted to the hospital. It was on my heart to go see him and pray for him. The other person was by his bedside. Praying beforehand God gave me the grace to walk in the Spirit and be loving and kind to both of them. I praise God for the work He is doing in me." (California)

“I was first the prodigal then returned. My husband is now the prodigal and we are separated. He told me he wanted a divorce and not to communicate with him in any way. We didn't speak for several weeks. During that time I prayed continuously for God to soften his heart and to forgive me. I decided to call him and to my surprise he agreed to go on a date. We had a wonderful time. He shared with me that he missed me and that he wouldn’t be gone for long. He held my hand, was very sweet and affectionate. When he left he told me loved me. God is already restoring this marriage! All praise to Him!”  (California)

“I know that the Lord does speak to me with songs, signs and for certain with Covenant Transport trucksand always when I need them the most. I feel blessed to see them quite often. I went to visit my daughter and had to take a long back road highway. I only ‘thought’ to myself, The Lord won't have one to show me on this highway. A little later, a semi came flying by me, and it had a Covenant Transport mud flap on the back. I felt like He was saying ‘Don't tell Me what I can or can't do.’ I was able to share my testimony with someone and talk about Jesus. I love being used by the Lord, and I hope I at least planted a seed. God is so, so good!”  (Oklahoma)
