“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”  Isaiah 55:8-11
Do you believe that God’s Word will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it?  If you would ponder and meditate on this first scripture, it will increase your faith, hope and trust in God’s Holy Word. God’s Word will not return void. God’s promises will be fulfilled.

“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.”  Isaiah 40:8
God speaks to His children and then He waits to see if they will walk in faith, hope and trust in the Lord. Yes, you may go through some trials and tests, but often shortly after, you realize it was a test. “Lord, forgive me, I know I should not have reacted to their anger, but walked in love. I understand what you are teaching me. Lord, I surrender my sinful nature and pray that You fill me up to overflowing with the Holy Spirit. Thank You for reminding me that I need to take the higher road to be more like You. Amen.”

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.  James 1:2-3
Beware of the enemy’s tricks! Satan is very sly and you may not be aware that it is the enemy tempting you with depression, hopelessness, unbelief and lack of faith. That is why you need to have a personal quiet time with the Lord every day. Hunger and thirst for the Word of God every day like you hunger for food.
How many times have you been tempted to give up praying and standing for your marriage? How many times has the Lord given you manna, signs, a “rhema” word over and over again to give you hope and direction for marriage restoration? Many standers start strong, but due to circumstances that occur they become weary. God is bigger than  the  financial pressures, employment issues, family pressures, church pressures, a non-covenant  wedding or baby, or any other circumstance you can face.  When you are fully committed to praying for restoration, no circumstance will cause you to  give up on God’s plans and purpose in your life.

He humbled you causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.  Deuteronomy 8:3
God wants to teach His people that one’s life does not consist merely in the physical, but depends on one’s relationship to God and obedience to His Word. The Lord may permit difficulties in our lives as a form of fatherly discipline in order to train us to depend on Him more each day, having a personal relationship with Him, to speak, to claim and to know His Word. Remember the Israelites:

Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.  Deuteronomy 8:4-5
Can you see where your Lord God is providing for you supernaturally? Can you see and hear God’s voice in showing you His will and His way for your life? Are you seeking Him each day? Are you reading, studying and obeying the Word of God daily?
When the Lord blesses you with answers to your prayers, or when your spouse comes home,do not forget all that your Lord God has done for you and your family! Remember, the Lord wants to get the glory for all answers to your prayers and for your marriage being restored.
Always remember, put the Lord first in your life. Let Him be your husband for this season of your life who will provide for your every need and provide for you spiritually, financially and emotionally. God will never leave you. Always put the Lord first in your life.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.  Matthew 6:33-34
I pray that you will believe in God’s Word and in His promises regarding the sanctity of marriage. I also pray that if the Lord has spoken to you that you do not take His promises lightly. Consider it as if you were a Moses, a Samuel, a Jeremiah or a Saul/Paul. God does not speak and then change His mind, but wants you to believe in His Word and the power of God. If you have any doubt or fear, recognize who is giving it to you – the enemy! So start reading God’s Word daily and stand firm on God’s promises!

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.  1 Corinthians 15:58
