Do you believe that the Lord can resurrect and breathe life into your hurting or dead marriage? We believe it!
This teaching will encourage husbands and wives who are facing marriage problems. In it Charlyne teaches about the permanence of marriage. We invited Jim and Sherry to share their testimony of being divorced for years, losing a son to leukemia and of Jim being an alcoholic. After their divorce, they both tried other relationships. But God never took His hands off this marriage and family. You will be blessed and encouraged. This CD is one that you will want to pass around to family members, friends and co-workers who have marriage problems.
Available as CD or MP3 Download
I am praising the Lord that we are sending out an extra bonus of testimonies from standers around the world. To God be the glory! I know that having marriage problems, being separated or divorced or having your spouse possibly marry the other person for a season is not easy, but God is moving in hearts and lives around the world!
Please stand firm, walking in faith, believing and trusting in the Lord’s mighty power. God is faithful to His promises. God is a God of reconciliation! – Charlyne

The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.  Nahum 1:7

“DON’T GIVE UP! DON’T GIVE IN! God will do what He said in His timing. My wife asked me to leave her and my daughters because she wasn’t happy and didn’t love me anymore. I’ve been praying, crying, praying! Worshipping God, active in church since we separated many months ago. She said she’d never step into a church. She’s now going to her own church. We’ve been touchy feely with each other, peaceful, no arguments. It’s by no means 100 percent, but God gets all the glory! He can turn the hardest heart to flesh. Your faith in God must be stronger than your circumstances.  Don’t listen to the voice of your spouse. It’s the adversary. Pray and fast him off your marriage. You have the power from God. Place it at God’s feet and leave it alone. There will be pain, but you must remember, God is greater than anything. You must seek Him first. God gave me. Psalm 37, Isaiah 41:10, 1 Peter 5:10. Be strong and keep praying!”  (Ohio)

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”  Isaiah 41:10

“PTL. It’s been a while since I last submitted a testimony because I allowed the voice of the devil to lull the amazing work God is doing in my life. But I just want to praise and worship the Almighty God with this testimony and shame the devil. God has blessed me with so much peace. I am now able to love my spouse as he is. God is going to change him. Although our marriage is restored, he is still living in the far country and he is hinting at possibly having us move there. Early in our marriage, God said we would live together in the far country and I choose to stand on His promise for He is faithful and His timing is perfect. I woke up to Hosea 7:12 – When they go I will throw my net over them, I will pull them down like the birds in the sky. God is in control and no matter where my husband is, God is right there with him. Luke 1:45 Is my motivation during my stand. God is able. Keep standing standers, never give up.”  (Swaziland)

“I had been searching for unconditional love for my husband. Lord help me! I am broken and weeping but it’s a mixture of sorrow and self-pity. Then I remember, He gave me a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. So this self-pity MUST GO in Jesus’ Mighty Name! I cried out to God. Then I felt Him. His faithfulness stood in front of me saying, ‘I am here.’ I am thankful my husband is home and comes home though he is still not sharing much and his language can be angry. But I am thankful to the Lord Jesus who put me in a Bible-believing church because it keeps me busy and out of His way as He works on my husband. I pray my husband will cry out to You Lord as I wait, growing, changing and being strengthened. Remove everything You dislike in me and prepare me especially with love for my husband and our restored marriage in Jesus’ Holy Name.”  (Florida)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.  2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

“A few weeks ago, God called me on a 10-day fast for marriages. I went on the fast along with my spiritual mentor. I wrote down the names of several couples who I knew were going through problems in their marriage and even headed for divorce and placed them on the wall in my prayer room. I’m happy to say that I received the report that two of the couples are heading toward restoration and all praise goes to God our Father. I’m so excited for what God is doing in the marriages of others and I know not many days from now I, too, shall have the promise fulfilled that God made to me. Amen.”  (Georgia)

“I praise the Lord because He is faithful. I haven’t seen the restoration of my family yet, but I’ve started to see the struggle of my prodigal who sometimes seems to want to be with us but at the same time, is still with the OW. I was about to give up these past weeks and as sometimes things get confused, I asked God to show me a sign that standing was approved by Him. I specifically ask to see a rainbow as a sign of His promise. Well the next day it was not me, but my son who told me he saw a rainbow at his school. He knew nothing about my request. This week I had breakfast with my prodigal and on my way, saw a United truck. Standers, please pray for one another since it’s true – when our miracles seem close, the enemy attacks. That same day I found out he returned to the OW, but God was so merciful that He revealed that to me. God won’t let us be ashamed by others, He knows our needs. Psalm 38:9.”  (Florida)

O Lord, all my longing is before you; my sighing is not hidden from you.  Psalm 38:9 (ESV)

“Last fall when I started nursing school, my husband had another false start coming home and disappeared again right before I started school. I was devastated and wanted to quit school. I feared I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the high demands nursing school required and all the finances and time would be wasted. The RMM prayer team prayed for my marriage, husband and that I wouldn’t lose all the resources put into school. God made a way in the very last hour and I passed all my courses and was able to move ahead in the program. Thank you for your prayers, they were answered! Believing God for my husband’s return and NO more false starts nor OW. He is faithful!”  (Alabama)

“My beloved husband came over unannounced after almost a year of no communication. He showed up as my son and I were watching the movie ‘The Impossible’ and he asked what it was about. I told him that it was about a family of five who were swept away by a tsunami and miraculously reunited (we are a family of five). The next day he showed up and we watched the Super Bowl together and witnessed the comeback win of the Patriots. I have been blessed with a long stand. Impossible some may say; it will take a comeback miracle others would say. I say God can and will do both for my marriage and family in Jesus’ name! Nothing is impossible for my God!”  (California)

“I am awaiting and expecting my suddenly. Everyone has told me to move on; why stand and wait it’s been too many years. We are still married, just living apart. All this time is just a blimp on God’s timetable. It seems so slow and nothing is happening yet God shows me glimpses when I’m low of my husband’s heart (Jesus is still in there) and I know why I stand. We are both so stubborn. God needed extra time to get through to my husband and get me ready for his return. Jeremiah 29:11 keeps me standing in the gap for my husband.”  (Tennessee)

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”  Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)

“My marriage will be restored, God is working. At times, I become weary and want to give up. My husband still says he is sorry for putting me through this but does not want to be married to me anymore. And all I say to him is, ‘I love you, you are my husband and I made a vow to be your wife, for better or worse, through sickness and in health, rich or poor, to love and to cherish until death separates us.’ Whenever he speaks that we are not good, our marriage is dead, I keep saying those words. I do not have social media since late last year and I have more time for God’s Word, the Bible. I listen to Charlyne’s podcast and Marriage Today daily to keep me going. Matthew 19:6 – ‘So they are no longer two but one flesh.’  My suddenly is near. I am standing firm and not giving up on God.”  (South Africa)

“Last night I met with my husband for the first time in many months. My Pastor warned me not to be surprised if the demons in my husband attacked me once they saw the Holy Spirit all over me. He was right. It happened. But I walked in with a band of warrior angels and the Holy Spirit. I didn’t get angry. I apologized for any hurt I caused him. And I know my husband isn’t happy because of his conscience. I did see cracks where God is working. My husband has always claimed he doesn’t believe in God, but last night he said, ‘If there is someone up there, he knows I’m a good man. I’m a good man and I’m not going to hell.’ For him to say that I know God is speaking to him and I know he is thinking about it.”  (Virginia)

“I want to thank RMM and fellow standers for the encouragement during my husband’s and my separation. Since I submitted testimonies, the enemy has turned up the heat to try and discourage me. BUT GOD! God provides what I need when I need it. On the way to class I asked God to tell me how much longer and what will be the outcome. I then saw a car license plate that spelled ‘VICTORY.’ Then I saw a Swift truck. God answers prayers. Though a struggle at times, I will continue to stand on God’s Word, trusting and believing that all He spoke, He will do and His Word will not return to Him void. God bless you and stay encouraged.”  (Maryland)

“…so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”  Isaiah 55:11

“PTL! After several months of standing, I’m starting to see the light and God’s promises revealed confirming to me that He is faithful and that He will never leave us, nor forsake us. After fasting, praying and obeying God, the OW finally went back to her country because of her immigration status. Despite this, the enemy has been attacking me with thoughts that she might come back. I’m believing my Lord and Savior and His Word and promises. We literally claimed to God to send her back to her country of origin, to sever that ungodly relationship, and God did it! We are praying for a Damascus Road encounter with the Lord for my husband, and we are believing it is going to happen soon. I know we have a long way ahead of us, letting God mold us in the shape of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. It’s been quite a spiritual journey, but God has been faithful and has sustained us with His mighty right hand. Standers, do not give up, don’t believe the enemy’s lies, believe and trust God and His Word.”  (Florida)

“After months of anger and bitterness, I finally yielded to the Lord and chose to stand for my marriage. I had already filed for divorce several months earlier. We had decided to not file until the new year to file a joint tax return. We were told the divorce would be filed the very beginning of the year but today when my prodigal called the attorney to ask for an update, we discovered it had never even been filed! I have been praying hard for the Lord to stop this divorce if it isn’t His will. It continues to be dragged out even though we have chosen not to fight over anything and it should be a simple uncontested. But God. I have been feeling very down and hopeless lately and then God went and showed me yet another sign of restoration. He is faithful!”  (Kansas)

“Just when hope is dwindling, our Father will revive it! I went to a worship night at a local church. The worship leader sang and I cried out to God. The screen that displayed the lyrics had a picture of a giant mountain. I heard God say, ‘I will move that mountain.’ I cried out to God asking why it had to hurt so bad. Without previous knowledge of the message, the worship singer spoke about family and marriage restoration. My hope is renewed and I am walking by faith that my suddenly is coming soon! PTL!”  (California)

“I had to share this praise! I learned something new this week. I know my marriage is important to God and He will restore it in His own time. But He desires more for us to be faithful in our walk no matter what is going on with our lives. He desires more for the salvation of souls and the restoration of His children who have left Him. My husband left some time ago and during this time God used me to form a ladies Bible study and through this two of our ladies got saved. My brother came back to the Lord and just last week I led my niece to the Lord. People are watching how we handle our trials, if God is really real in our lives. I’m so thankful for God helping me to be faithful every day. Please standers, be careful what you say and most important how you behave because we can be a blessing or a stumble to someone who is looking for help. May God receive all the glory for what He is doing in our lives through this trial. Our suddenly will come in His timing.”  (Texas)

My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words.  Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body. Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.  Proverbs 4:20-23 (NLT)
