Stop looking at your circumstances!
That sounds impossible doesn’t it…
The circumstances surrounding your marriage situation are never too much for Jesus. In this teaching you will hear Charlyne plead her case for your marriage restoration. Are you overwhelmed by your circumstances? Then this teaching will increase your faith and hope regarding your marriage being restored.

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

“But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”  2 Chronicles 15:7

“Praise the Lord! All I can say is thank You to Jesus! My prodigal is back home. Only God! A total and ‘suddenly’ change. I know the battle is not over. Please continue to pray for each other. Pray for his/her soul, spiritual soul, first. The rest will follow. Stand firm. Always. We are standers for life! Don’t give up. I know. You are saying, ‘Yeah, yeah…we just don’t understand how bad the situation is…’ Trust me, I know and used to say the same thing until now. Our situations might differ, but we share the same pain and God sees that. God is working. My only advice is to praise Him even when you don’t see any change. Keep praising even when you don’t feel like it. He is fighting for you and your prodigal. We know we are on the winning team! Praise him in advance. PTL! Psalm 23:5.”  (Florida)

You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.  Psalm 23:5 (NLT)

“I am still waiting for my suddenly, but I felt that God was putting it on my heart to share a prayer that He helped me write. I hope that it can help with your walk. God, my God, you have the power to do all in my life and in my marriage. You, Father, can heal broken hearts and dreams and I know that You are moving mountains that I cannot see to restore my marriage. Soften my spouse’s heart and draw him/her closer, lead me to be a better follower of You for my marriage. In Jesus’ Holy Name, give us your peace. Amen.  (Louisiana)

“I thank God for the little things. He is working on my husband step by step. My husband considered coming back and he never did before. He also dedicated a song to me called ‘Queen of My Heart’ by Westlife. We spent most the day on the phone together the other day, via text and conversation. The enemy tried to get us to argue, but we changed the subject. Thanking God daily.”  (Virginia)

“It has been rough these several months since I have last seen my beloved husband. But God gives us new grace and mercy daily. It seems like every time I wanted to give up and give in, God has shown me great signs and wonders. When you’re down and low God does speak to you, maybe through the Bible, a friend, someone who God has appointed to minister to you. John 4:29-31. There will be doubts and concerns that the devils will put in your head. You must trust our Father and have faith He will do it. Praise Him in advance. The enemy sets up his attacks, and all I can do is laugh at him. Out of the blue an old flame reaches out, asking about my marriage and myself. I want God to change my husband, and for him to be that Mighty Man of God that he was created to be. He changes us first and then our spouses. As I am typing this it is renewing my mind. I have to fight the flesh a lot in my dry season. So, continue to pray for me and my family, and I will pray for you and yours. Be blessed.”  (South Carolina)

“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”  They came out of the town and made their way toward him.  Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.”  John 4:29-31

“I have been standing for my spouse and my family for many years. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the World! I continue the fight, but serve the Lord in the meantime. This week I am blessed to share an opportunity to stay in a resort with other standers. Through my stand I have met so many godly women and men. I get to travel all over the USA and always have a place to stay and visit! Although my family is in disarray and not walking with Jesus, God has given me a church family and like-minded friends to share the time with. This year I will have another opportunity to serve the Lord in missions when I travel to Brazil. To God be the glory for the wonderful things He has done. I look forward to the day that my beloved husband and I can serve the Lord side by side.”  (Pennsylvania)

“My husband and I are living together again. And although we are not fully restored, I want to share how the Lord is still working and showing me He is still moving mountains. Recently, a song my husband dedicated to me years ago was stuck in my head. I asked the Lord to please let me hear that song at a random time for verification. Tonight my daughter found an old battery-operated radio in a random old box so I put batteries in it and showed her how to use it. A little while later my daughter comes outside and hands me the radio. I adjust the turn dial, and to my surprise, the song playing was the very same song I prayed about. The Lord’s timing is perfect! When I grow weary, He picks me right back up! Praise the Lord! I will continue to pray for all the standers, their spouses, and their families. Amen!”  (South Carolina)

…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  Isaiah 40:31

“In the past couple of weeks God has definitively convicted me to stand until my prodigal husband returns or until death do us part. Even my husband’s marriage to the OW is not to end my stand. Up until now I did not even want my husband back except for the good of our two teenage children. In the months since the bomb drop, I have enjoyed being free of him. But that is not God’s plan. We are one flesh. We have a covenant marriage. God calls us to walk in righteousness, loving unconditionally even when we don’t feel love towards our prodigal at all. God will be glorified and I am honored to be an instrument for His glory.”  (Pennsylvania)

“I have been standing several months and during the separation I have been discouraged as to how my husband has put his own happiness above our son’s. He has been in the far country and has rarely made time to spend with him. The Lord recently laid on my heart to start praying more about this situation and their relationship. On my way to work this morning I prayed that God would speak to my husband’s heart about his and our son’s relationship. I received an email from him shortly after I got to work saying he stopped by the house this morning just to give our son a hug. PTL! What an amazing sign that God is speaking to my husband’s heart and He is answering my prayers in His timing and in His perfect way.”  (Tennessee)

“WOW! Just wow! I have been praying diligently for weeks for God to show me His will; stand or move on. I had a disagreement with my prodigal wife last night. I zipped the lips and kept my cool. I didn’t have to prove every point or have the last word. I was reflecting upon it this morning while driving my kids to school. With God-given wisdom, I realized that He will prove His point in His time. He will have the last word upon my wife’s heart. All I’m supposed to do is love her, pray, and trust God’s plan. Not 60 seconds later I look up and see the broad side of a Covenant Transport Truck. Here I am, a few weeks post divorce, with an indescribable joy in my heart, a HUGE smile on my face and peace in my heart. Glory to God!”  (Minnesota)

“I have been standing for some time now and getting a bit weary, not reading my Charlyne Cares every day and doubt snuck in. BUT GOD… I had told some close Christian friends about my stand awhile back and recently shared a disappointing moment with them and they basically said you need to move on. BUT GOD… sent me three more friends who said we stand with you and ‘let’s pray together … you are being obedient and God’s got this!’ I love how He just drowns the doubts with His promises and surrounds His children in encouragement. Don’t give up! Find people you trust to pray with you, read Charlyne Cares and use all the resources on this website. Thank you RMM, you rock!” (Canada)

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”  Matthew 18:19-20

“God works in unexpected ways! My uncle had been in the hospital for days and through that time God comforted me in wonderful ways spiritually. In addition to that, on the first day I sent my husband a message letting him know about my uncle, no response. After four days, my uncle passed and I relayed the message to my husband; hours later he replied thanking me for letting him know and offering his condolences. As much as I hoped for my husband’s reply in my time of need, I wavered in believing whether or not it would happen since he hasn’t acknowledged any of my communication for quite some time. Praise God who has given me this unexpected communication and, although it seems like a tiny step, it is a sign of the start of restored communication. Thanks be to God forever!”  (New Jersey)

“I spent my birthday with my prodigal and family this weekend which is nothing short of a miracle. I have been standing for several years. We have had a few false starts then something stops him. It does pull on your heart strings and makes you want to give up, but God reminds me who is in control. I was so thrilled to have him at my celebration and was thankful that he was at peace while celebrating with me and my family. Two days later the OP pops back on the scene. That was so discouraging. I fell into my feelings about it and started communicating in an accusatory way. That wasn’t helpful but we were able to talk cordially about it. Thank God for RMM because it was great timing with the devotional they sent out, ‘Getting Over the Other Person.’ It helped to put things into perspective. I will WAIT for God and wait for my suddenly. Praying for standers and prodigals across the world. It’s not easy but with God it’s POSSIBLE.”  (Connecticut)

“In Luke 22:31-32, Jesus told Simon that ‘…Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail.’ For the life of me I couldn’t understand if Jesus had prayed for him, how is it that Simon failed and denied Jesus three times. Deeper study brought to realization that Jesus did not prevent Satan from testing Simon, but specifically prayed that Simon’s faith wouldn’t fail. Well into several years of divorce and all communication ceased, I, like Peter who went outside and wept bitterly after denying Jesus, have wept and endured pain beyond any I cared to bear. Through prayer and meditation God revealed the nugget in this scripture in the second sentence of verse 32 – ‘And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.’ We standers must remain faithful and stand for the restoration of our marriages and when we have received the desires of our hearts we must strengthen other standers, or else our suffering was in vain. To God be the glory.”  (Alabama) Amen!! We all must share different ways to others even through our ministry or others venues that the Lord resurrected and restored your marriage! To God be the glory! – Charlyne

“My wife revealed in a conversation that she thinks about me every day. When I asked her what she thinks about she said marriage things and how happy we use to be. She said we still love each other, but we have issues that need to be resolved. This comes only a few weeks after we started having discussions about dividing our household things between the two of us. In one of RMM’s podcasts, it was stated ‘to leave the burden to God.’ So, I did. I have not been angry, worried, uncertain, or feeling unsure of what the future holds. I have faith that God is working behind the scenes in our favor. We have several trips planned this summer. That is a miracle in itself. God is still in control and His Word never comes back void. I see a heart of stone slowly being turned to flesh again.”  (California)

“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.  And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.”  Ezekiel 36:26-27 (ESV)
