The June ministry newsletter was published last week.
Take some time to read it today for encouragement.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother” — which is the first commandment with a promise— “that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.  Ephesians 6:1-4
Happy Father’s Day! I pray that all fathers will love their wives and children as God created them to do.

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.  Psalm 127:3-5
Ladies, regardless of what your husband is doing, you can show your children how to honor and bless their father on this special day.
I must applaud all our male standers who are mighty men of God who have chosen to pray, fight and stand for their marriage. Some are raising their children, splitting parenting or have a very healthy relationship with their children.
These men have surrendered their lives to standing in the gap for their wives and being the example of what a parent needs to do in instructing and raising their children to love the Lord God. Some of these fathers were the prodigals who have had their own Damascus Road experience which is a huge praise. The Lord softened their hardened heart, touched, and transformed them to become the man of God that the Lord planned them to be. Now pray that their wives will forgive them of the past and today start rebuilding their marriage on the solid rock of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we pray for the fathers who are not able to see their children today. Comfort them, giving them Your hope and soften their wives’ hearts to remove the anger, bitterness and unforgiveness this very day in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Do you have a good, healthy relationship with your father? Has he died? Were you wounded by his words or actions in the past? We all may have good and bad memories of events in our lives as we grew up. We then marry and become parents ourselves. Are you holding grudges from the past? Have you forgiven your father? I pray you will talk to your father this special day or as I will do, going to the cemetery to remember and honor both my father and father-in-law who were very special in my life.
If you personally have a strained relationship with your father now, pray and ask the Lord to give you the strength to choose to forgive your father. When you do, you will find freedom in your own life, like never before. May this be a day where you, as an adult child, will knock down the wall of silence and restore a relationship with your father. Ask the Lord to heal and remove all the pain as the Lord heals your broken heart regardless of your age.
Lord, restore this relationship today in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
“For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”  Matthew 6:14-15
Will you join me in praying for the fathers who have run away from their responsibility of being a husband and father? Let us pray they will surrender to the soft voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to them today to “Call your children or go see your children or start building a new relationship with them today.” What a celebration families around the world would have if fathers would have a healthy relationship with their children regularly.

“He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.”  Malachi 4:6
Mom, I know this is a very difficult day for you. I remember. Never stop praying for your husband who has made a lot of bad choices, but remember the true victims in marriage problems or a divorce are the children. We hear it every day. I know why God hates divorce beyond breaking your covenant marriage. There is the emotional pain and suffering every child goes through being exposed to another person and having to keep both parents happy which is not their job.
I am praying that this Lord’s Day our Lord God will speak to the fathers who are still at home who do not spend enough time with their children. I pray that all fathers will take their children to church and be a godly example. I pray that fathers who are harsh with their children will humble themselves this Father’s Day, learn how to communicate properly and renew their relationships with their children. May thousands of fathers turn their hearts to the Lord for salvation and transformation.
Let’s pray that on this Father’s Day many broken or strained relationships will be healed and restored by the mighty power of our Lord God. Will you join others to pray for thousands of fathers to call or see their children today even if they haven’t for a long period of time? Let’s pray for many miracles to happen today for fathers and children to see and talk to each other. Let’s pray for thousands of fathers to realize the mistakes they have made and turn their hearts to the Lord in repentance and turn their hearts back to the waiting wives and families. Nothing is too hard for our Lord God on this Lord’s Day!

“‘To open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’”  Acts 26:18
God bless,
