Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.  Deuteronomy 7:9
As we worship our Lord God, may you always remember God’s divine love for you, your spouse and your children. I know that you may be discouraged, hurting, or even feel like your marriage is hopeless, but never give up on your Lord. Nothing is too hard for God to accomplish.
Are you harboring anger, unforgiveness or bitterness because of your problems? Confess your own sins and repent. Choose to grow in the Lord, knowing His power, and knowing His love for you. God hates divorce. Our God is a God of restoration.
Today let’s read some words that you need to have on your spiritual journey with the Lord. Never forget that your Lord God is always faithful!.
F – Faithful – Our Lord God is faithful. God is faithful and true to His Word in forgiving our sins, in covenant-keeping, and in keeping His promises. What a mighty God we serve!

For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.  Psalm 33:4
A – Able – God is able to do anything. Nothing is impossible with God. His arm is not too short. How big is your God? Do you believe in God’s mighty power to restore your marriage?

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.  Ephesians 3:20
I – Intercession – You must intercede for your spouse and loved ones. Do you believe in the power of prayer? Are you fasting and praying for the Lord to move your mountains?

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”  2 Chronicles 7:14-15
T – Trust – You must trust your Lord for everything. Are you willing to surrender your will and way, trusting your Lord for the healing of your marriage?

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this.  Psalm 37:3-5
H – Help – Do you need help? Turn to your Lord God for all your resources. He is the only One who can rescue you, your spouse and loved ones. Allow God to be your Deliverer and greatest Counselor.

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— the LORD, who remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous.  Psalm 146:5-8
F – Forgiveness – Do you walk in the spirit of forgiveness every day? You must forgive your spouse, the other person, or people who hurt you every day. Let the Lord discipline them. You must ask the Lord to give you the spirit of forgiveness. If you keep unforgiveness stuffed down in your heart, it will harden your own heart with anger and bitterness.

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”  Matthew 18:21-22
U – Unbelief – Unbelief can rob you of your joy, your peace, your faith and your trust in your Lord God. Unbelief can block your marriage in being restored if your faith waivers in the power of your Lord God. Do not be double-minded, have faith in God.

“But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.” Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”  Mark 9:22-24
L – God’s Love – Do you comprehend the love that God has for you? He sent Jesus Christ to die for your sins. Choose to accept God’s love for you and your family as you obey and follow His commands every day of your life. Believe in God’s love and His faithfulness!

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever, his faithfulness continues through all generations.  Psalm 100:5
L – Listen – You must listen and obey the Lord’s instructions in everything. If you do not know what to do, ask the Lord and He will speak to your heart. You must spend time with the Lord to be able to learn and hear His soft voice.

…Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life.  Deuteronomy 30:19-20
O – Obey – God rewards obedience. Read and listen to God’s Word and do what it says.

“…I said, ‘Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God. Then I will fulfill the oath I swore to your forefathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey’-the land you possess today.”  Jeremiah 11:4-5
V – Vision to your Victory – God has given you a vision for your restored marriage. It was not an accident. God has been speaking to you possibly in more than one way, showing you His plan of restoration for your marriage. When God speaks His plan or vision to you, it is already done in the Heavenlies. Know that there is victory through the Blood and the Name of your Lord Jesus Christ.

Where there is no vision, the people perish.  Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 15:57
E – Eternal – We were all born in sin. Each of us will go either to Heaven or to Hell. Jesus Christ came to this earth to save the lost. He paid the price by shedding His Blood on the cross for all of our sins. We have to make a choice if we are going to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of our lives and receive the gift of eternal life. Have you made that decision yet? Has your spouse or your loved ones made that decision? That is why we need to pray every day for all prodigal spouses who have not made that decision to accept Jesus Christ as Savior of their lives.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  John 3:16-17
God is faithful to His Word! Don’t give up on Him.
