Are you really ready for your spouse’s return home?
In this high energy teaching, Charlyne is asking the stander if they are really ready for their prodigal to come home. She also answers the question, “Why do prodigals come and go from their families?” You will be especially helped by this teaching! Are you ready?

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.  Isaiah 54:10

“PTL. It’s amazing when we praise our God Almighty, give thanks to Him, seek His presence, repent, have that intimacy with Him every day, and when we have that mega faith in Jesus. When you put God first and declare things that are not as if they were with 100% mega faith in God, that is when you will not only have peace and joy, but that is when you will have your suddenly and your prodigal back home. All this happened to me. Now I am doing exactly the same, but this time it is for my prodigal to go back to Jesus Christ. Then we can fulfill God’s will as a couple and serve Him through whatever ministry God has for us as one. All glory, all praise and all honor to our faithful, almighty, good God.”  (Florida)

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”  John 11:40

“Glory to God! My suddenly is closer than I think. For God does speak and hear our prayers. I was directed to RMM several months ago and have learned to stand for my marriage after my husband abandoned our marriage and family. I surrendered myself and marriage to the Lord completely. I learned to trust God no matter what to resurrect this dead marriage back to life. Jeremiah 31:16 – This is what the Lord says: ‘Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded,’ declares the Lord. ‘They will return from the land of the enemy.’ I have been fasting regularly, asking God to restore our marriage by our anniversary in October. We were able to spend it together by going to lunch. He isn’t back home yet, and we haven’t discussed anything. but it has been confirmed that God is moving. Standers don’t give up. The battle is already won. We are more than conquerors. Romans 8:37.”  (Michigan)

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  Romans 8:37

“I prayed for time with my spouse. He invited me for dinner and then silence for two weeks. I continued to ask the Lord to give us time together. My spouse got sick and ended up in the hospital for a week. He allowed me to be there. I took care of my spouse; we spent hours together. He is out of hospital and we continue to have communication and we continue to spend time together. We serve a mighty God. Stop relying on your own strength, pray and ask the Lord. Trust in Him completely. He is faithful!”  (South Africa)

“So thankful for God’s grace and help in times of trouble! After my wife left almost a year ago, I finally came to the end of myself and humbled myself and sought the Lord. I have not seen or heard from her since she left, except for when I was served divorce papers recently. Though I am struggling, I can see how God is using everything to bring me closer to Him and teaching me the simple (yet hard) truth of ‘being still, and knowing He is God’ (Psalm 46:10). I have committed myself to stand FIRM for the restoration of my marriage and family – for the Lord’s sake. Though I see tough times ahead, I am excited as I anticipate what God is going to do as I fast, pray, and cry out to God for healing and help. I am also very excited to be able to show my wife a different ‘me’ and am praying she is able to see Christ. Hallelujah. Praise God that He can do above ALL that we can ask or even imagine (think)!”  (Connecticut)

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.  Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)

“My husband walked out one me a few years ago without saying a word. I was desperate. I found RMM where I learned to fight the right way! God’s way and the only way. I received many signs, all came true. I moved in with him several months ago in our home and we are doing great. Even our kids and family see the change. He’s ten times better the man I married! God worked on him and showed him love and compassion. Do not give up, that’s the key! Nothing happened until I gave it to God and declared that I surrender it all up to Him. Keep the faith, keep praying and release it totally to God. Praying for you all.”  (Kansas)

Deuteronomy 31:6 – ‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.’ God is so faithful! After a couple of months of my husband and the OW moving in together, God ended their relationship! They are finally OVER! My husband moved out and returned to our city. Only God alone could’ve done this! We still have no contact, but I know God will open the communication between us in HIS perfect timing. Never doubt God’s promises. I know it’s hard, but quitting is not an option. God is fighting for us every minute.”  (Canada)

“The Lord is indeed a miracle-working God. I have been following RMM and standing on behalf of my parents who have been married for many, many years. Several years ago, my dad filed for divorce but by God’s grace, the judges did not find the case satisfactory and did not issue the divorce. Dad moved into the family home with the other lady and they had two children. We have been praying and standing as a family until last weekend when the other woman showed up at my mum’s place and began to weep profusely, begging for forgiveness. It was unbelievable. It’s been a long journey, but we continue to trust God that indeed He will not put us to shame. We are praying for Dad and we believe the Holy Spirit will show him the way home and he will be delivered. There is already a sign to continue to trust in Him as He will bring things to completion in His perfect timing. Thank you RMM, as through your story and other testimonies published, I got encouraged to stand in the gap as a child.”  (Kenya)

“I’m so excited. My husband wants another baby girl. This is one of my prayers. In fact, I’ve been praying for twin girls! I haven’t told my husband that I want twin girls, but I know our God will repay us double for our troubles. My husband and I still have a lot of healing to do, but I thank God for bringing us this far. My husband is so loving and caring towards me now. He even told me that he reads a chapter from the Bible every day. Right now, we’re moving to another state and my husband will join us later on. Our God is amazing. He finishes what he started. Please don’t give up.”  (Virginia)

…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.  Philippians 1:6

“I was a stander for several years, and my spouse came home to me and our little girl. RMM and the Lord’s promises kept me resting in God’s promises and fighting for my restoration, no matter what. We were together almost a year until he left again. I am constantly praying for restoration and his salvation. Nothing is impossible with God. Our daughter has been so sad and so have I, but we know that God is doing immeasurably more than we could ever ask for or imagine, and He is guiding him back home to us. This time it will be set in stone with a strong marriage, commitment, and unconditional love. Our God is faithful! I can’t wait for the day he comes back home, and our family is restored for good! Praise God.”  (Texas)

In January of this past year I heard God tell me, ‘Nothing is too hard for Me. Your husband is coming home.’ That was several months ago, and things have gotten worse. My husband filed for divorce and has stopped all communication with me. I allowed my circumstances to discourage me. I asked several people if God ever changes His mind. And as Lori said in today’s devotional, ‘Don’t go to people, go to God.’ I learned I got different answers from people, but when I asked God, He gave me the answer. The very next day I read the RMM testimonies and not once but twice the scripture Numbers 23:19 was mentioned. ‘God is not a human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?’”  (Virginia)

“Praise the Lord, His mercies endureth forever. My stand has been uncharacteristically longer than l had anticipated. l have remained faithful to my beloved in spite of the years and yes, the occasional frustrations of seeing him happy with someone else. To me this is nothing short of a miracle, the calmness and ability to zip the lips and the peace that comes with it. My beloved might or might not make it from the far away country, but l know that l know deep down in my heart, if God can transform me, so can He transform my beloved. Your stand is not in vain. Keep holding on to God, trusting that He who has begun a good work in you shall surely see it to completion. What a mighty God we serve!”  (South Africa)

“I just wanted to send you a praise report. I submitted my court date on your website for prayer requests. Praise God! My husband requested that the court date be taken off the calendar. Future date – none at this time. God IS working on the other side of the mountain. Never give up! All praise and glory to Christ Jesus! Amen.”  (California)

“My story is no different from any of the other standers. My husband was unfaithful, and I felt two can play that game. I can see now the many mistakes I made and how I let sin slip into my life because I was not putting my Heavenly Father first and wanting to do things my way and by my strength. I was even suffering from depression and anxiety and couldn’t sleep without medication but PTL, He delivered me from them. One night I was laying on my bed and heard the name ‘Jehoshaphat’ clear as day. I had never heard that name before and I decided to look it up. There it was in 2 Chronicles 20. I learned to be still, to let God fight my many battles. This journey started with marital issues, but it had a lot to do with God refining me. God will repay for the years the locust has eaten. He is the only one who can save our husbands/ wives.”  (Trinidad and Tobago)

He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s…. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”  2 Chronicles 20:15, 17

“Praise the Lord, I know my suddenly is coming. After months of no communication, my husband started communicating with me. Now for the last three weeks he has been coming over and staying a lot. Usually on Sundays he doesn’t stay the night. He would leave because he has a vehicle provided by his company that he drives to work. Last night instead of leaving he asked me to ride with him and instead of leaving his car and us taking the work vehicle back to our home, he had me drive his car and follow him back to the house. I do not know what this means exactly, but it shows me God is moving and working on him to come home where he should be. I say to all other standers, do not give up! God is wonderful and never fails!”  (Colorado)

The Lord answered Moses, “Is the Lord’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”  Numbers 11:23

“My husband left home earlier this year after an affair with an OW. I was devastated. He spoke of divorce several times, but never tried. I gave my life back to God and took a stand. My husband started texting me on a few months ago Since then He has been to our home several times. We all went out to eat and spent several hours together. He also calls. The Lord has also restored intimacy between us. My husband is still living beside the OW around her family. However today he texted me and said on my next day off that we need talk about how to make our marriage work and that he knows we really love each other so we need to figure it out because there is no one else for him but me. Only God! I praise You Lord and give God all the praise through all of this. Praying for all standers, prodigals and RMM. So thankful for all the prayers.”  (Kentucky)

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  Matthew 19:26
