SATURDAY TESTIMONIES
Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

“The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”  Isaiah 58:11-12

“Praise God! I believe my suddenly is happening. After many years of separation, I’ve learned the OW is gone. My husband and I have been texting and JUST (less than 10 minutes ago) made plans for Thanksgiving. I haven’t seen him since last winter. I found this ministry within a few months of my husband’s leaving and have been standing ever since. There have been times I’ve wanted to give up, but I knew I needed to be obedient to God and faithful to my marriage, so that God would get the glory. I was afraid to believe this was possible, but God continually reminded me that all things are possible through Him. I have held onto Luke 1:45 – ‘Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.’ Stay strong standers. Praying for all of you!”  (Kentucky)

Jesus replied, Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.  If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”  Matthew 21:21-22

“I have been putting off writing a testimony, hoping that my marriage would be restored first. However, I have now been divorced for a few years. In some ways it gets harder every day and in some ways easier. Harder because so much time has passed, and easier because each day I know for sure that God is with me no matter what. During my stand I have learned many things about myself. I have even discovered new gifts I didn’t know that I had before. I guess it took the strength of standing to get me to focus more on the Lord and less on my problems. I know now without a doubt that God will see me through this. He is my Husband and for that I am grateful. There are days when I want to give up, but I do know that the most important thing is to pray that my prodigal grows closer and closer to the Lord. Never give up hope and always put God first!”  (Indiana)

“God is great! He just revealed that to me big time. I’m a stander, but I also pray for my brother who has a family of his own with two kids. He was unfaithful to her, she was unfaithful to him, and they ended up apart. I prayed to God that He would let my brother and my sister-in-law realize that family is to be treasured for life, let them have wisdom to know everything. Just two weeks ago, my brother told me he wants to live a life with his wife and their kids. They were separated several years and they both plan to be whole again as husband and wife. I’m so happy hearing it. Maybe I’m the next for God’s grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen!”  (Philippines)

“The Lord spoke to me twice the same day, to read Psalm 40, especially Psalm 40:5. The message a pastor spoke was God is multiplying His thoughts towards His children and will defeat the foe and give us the victory. The wondrous deeds and thoughts of the Lord toward His children is beyond anything we can imagine. Our God is an awesome God. I was so amazed by how God got my attention. Praise God!”  (India)

Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.  Psalm 40:5

“Several months ago my husband left for an OW. I begged my husband and when that didn’t work I became angry. I was lost and looking for an answer. God led me to RMM. I rededicated my life back to God. He showed me that I needed to change. I went back to church, praying, reading, seeking the Lord. A few months ago my husband started texting me every day. He picked us up and took us out to eat. We have been out to eat by ourselves, spent intimate time together. He tells me he loves and misses me and wants our family back. Our daughter became rebellious as she turned 18. She called me to say she was moving out. God gave me peace about the situation. This morning I received a text message from our daughter that she was coming home today! Only God! God showed me how to forgive and love. I know He will prevail and we will see, in God’s timing, our family restored. To God be all the glory!”  (Kentucky)

“I never thought I would write a testimony here after a long stand. During my separation, I have had a child from another man and my husband decided to move in with the OW. He started a new life with her and her children and seemed to completely forget about us. Communication stopped completely. Now a single mom of three, the days are long and painful. In the beginning there was hatred, bitterness, jealousy and anger between us. I became obsessed with the circumstances. But I heard a word from the Lord that divorce was not the answer. I read the Word daily fast, worship and pray often. Now I hear from God so clearly. I’m zipping my lips, letting my Lord fight the battle. The Lord has blessed me so much financially. I see changes in my husband’s heart. We text now. He asks about the baby and apologizes when he never used to before. I feel a breakthrough coming. If we are obedient and lean not on our own understanding we will see changes. Don’t give up before your miracle happens.”  (Texas)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.  Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

“Today my prodigal (and divorced) husband took our younger child to another town because of his work. When they came back to my home he helped with the homework and also cleaned up the kitchen, which was a mess because we moved just recently and I’ve had so much to do. Tomorrow he will come to eat Father’s Day lunch (in Finland it’s in November) in the kitchen which he cleaned up. Praise the Lord! He is working!”  (Finland)

“I had the best birthday ever when I received flowers from my son who has been estranged for several years now. Thank You Jesus for this little glimpse that You are the God who works in the dark! Out of nowhere, where there has not been any contact or any sign, You Lord are at work. I trust You Lord that You will bring him back into relationship with You and with his family.”  (California)

“Today is the anniversary of the day my husband told me he wasn’t coming home years ago. Over the past several years we’ve had a good relationship, but there are times he is silent. Last night he contacted me about the kids’ Christmas lists so I told him I was sorry I missed his text a few weeks back, but was glad to know he thought of me that night. He responded that I cross his mind more than I may think. God sent me this message the night before a very difficult day! And I’d like to encourage others by agreeing with the returned prodigals we’ve heard from through RMM – our prodigals really do think about us even when we don’t see signs of that and God sends us confirmation when we need it most.”  (South Carolina)

“Praise God, He continues to guide me and lead me in the right direction. My husband filed for divorce which broke me, but I prayed day and night and God told me to stand for my marriage. I prayed, fasted and read the Bible day in and day out. We decided to come to an agreement to not incur attorney fees. My spouse had an attorney schedule a court hearing which I was not aware of. The judge told my spouse that I was not properly served, threw the divorce out and asked him to complete the whole process over. God is with me and my girls. Thank You Father.”  (Nevada)

“I had filed for a divorce from my prodigal husband who has been living with the other woman for a couple of years. God began to deal with me about giving up. Weeks before our divorce hearing, I submitted our divorce court date on RMM website for prayer. Days later, I found myself filling out a form to dismiss the divorce case. I informed my husband about my decision not to divorce him. He was upset at first, but then days later we had a phone conversations as if nothing happened. He even agreed that it would be great if the children and I move to the same state and city where he lives! God is up to something awesome!”  (Georgia)

“I foretold the former things long ago, my mouth announced them and I made them known; then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.”  Isaiah 48:3

“My husband filed for divorce and yesterday was my first court appearance.  I had to let my first lawyer go, but my first miracle came when the I got a lawyer the day before the court date. My second miracle I prayed for was if something stops the divorce. The day of the court appearance his lawyer said she made a mistake (I know it was not a mistake, THIS WAS GOD!) and that she will have to redo the paperwork. We will have to go back once the ‘mistake’ is corrected, God was giving me more time just like I prayed for. I know everything that is happening is Him working! Amen!”  (Dominican Republic)

Since my prodigal’s return home, I’ve continued to pray for the reconnection process of our marriage restoration journey and that our family will become closer again. Isolation in our home had been a prior challenge that I no longer wanted to accept. Through praying, God has begun to move on my husband’s heart. He recently came out of isolation, sat us all down and shared his heart, and repented to the children! I know that this is a move of God! I’m blessed at how faithful God is.”  (Michigan)

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.  James 5:15-16
