Did your husband or wife leave for someone else?
Charlyne has had that personal experience about that particular marital problem. She can help you understand what you are facing and how to pray that the other person would leave quickly. This is a spiritual battle that you need to learn that the enemy is not the other person. Charlyne will share many scriptures to help you. This teaching will help and encourage you to believe for marriage restoration.

PRAYING FOR THE OTHER PERSON IN YOUR SPOUSE’S LIFE

“Therefore I will block her path with thornbushes; I will wall her in so that she cannot find her way. She will chase after her lovers but not catch them; she will look for them but not find them. Then she will say, ‘I will go back to my husband as at first, for then I was better off than now.’”  Hosea 2:6-7

Are you praying and doing some kind of a fast through January 1, 2018? May I challenge you to spend more time praying specifically for your beloved husband or wife and all prodigal spouses, as well as the many standers who are in hurting or hopeless marriages for these next several weeks. There is such power in prayer.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.  James 5:16-20

We receive email and letters saying: “Please pray that the other person in my spouse’s life will be removed. Pray that they will go back to their own spouse or that the other person will find God’s perfect spouse, which is not my husband or wife.”

Are you praying for the other person’s salvation daily? Please pray that the other person will go back to their own spouse, if there is one. Quite often the other person is in the midst of getting a divorce or they are already divorced and they have children. You need to pray for the restoration of their marriage and pray that their own husband or wife will also become a stander.

You are in a spiritual battle. Put on and memorize the scriptures in Ephesians 6:10-18. They are so vital for you and your family. Join God’s army and put on God’s Armor every day. Pray the Hedge of protection around you, your spouse, your family, your finances, your health, your employment and God’s plans and purposes. Plead the Blood of Jesus over each of your loved ones daily. (Put on and memorize the scriptures in Ephesians 6:10-18. They are so vital for you and your family.)

So many people talked to me about Bob’s free will. I asked the Lord about his free will and his total disobedience to knowing and doing God’s will. My husband had been called into the ministry. He was doing everything that he knew was wrong and evil. That is why I teach about praying specific scriptures with your spouse’s name in them, as God’s Word is powerful and never returns void. The Lord revealed a special scripture to me very early in my stand, that Bob had been taken captive by the devil. That is why Ephesians 6:12 is so important to remember and memorize:

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Ephesians 6:12

Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.  2 Timothy 2:25-26

If your spouse could hear and see God’s spiritual truths, they would repent and come home. Your spouse may not be a believer now or may be a believer who has fallen into the trap of sin. If your spouse is a believer, they did not turn from the sinful nature. (Galatians 5:19-21) You need to pray for their repentance to the Lord Jesus Christ. Your spouse needs to have a change of heart, just as your own heart has been touched, cleansed and changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for your prodigal:
Lord, remove the spirits of adultery, unfaithfulness, anger, lying spirit, perverse spirit, spirit of whoredoms, seducing and deceiving spirit, spirit of heaviness or oppression, disobedience, pride, bondages and addictions to alcohol, drugs or pills. Lord, remove all rebellious spirits and the spirit of death from all prodigals’ hearts. Lord, loose on my prodigal spouse and our family with the fruit of the Holy Spirit which is: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Lord, may all prodigals around the world turn their hearts to Jesus and crucify their flesh with its passions and desires. Nothing is too hard for God to do. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.

Ask the Lord to reveal to you any other sins that may be controlling your spouse. You need to pray that your spouse’s heart will be transformed. Never forget how Saul became a Paul by having his own Damascus Road experience.

Lord, give my spouse a new heart and put a new spirit in them. Thank You for removing their heart of stone and turning it to a heart of flesh. Nothing is too hard for You to do. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

“‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.’”  Ezekiel 36:24-27

Have you read Proverbs Chapters 5, 6, and 7 recently? You need to know deep in your heart that God is very firm against adultery. You can pray some of the verses in these powerful chapters as promises for your spouse. God will remove the other person, but your spouse needs to run from sexual immorality. They need to say no to sin and move closer to the Lord, repenting and turning away from their sinful lifestyle. Then the Lord will tell them to go back home. The other person is only a symptom of your spouse’s heart problem. Pray for the other person to be removed but most of all, pray for your spouse to repent and for their salvation. Jesus Christ died on the cross for all sinners, which includes your beloved spouse.

The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.”  Hosea 3:1

“I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them.”  Hosea 14:4

God is in the heart transformation business, so don’t give up.
God bless,
